It must be Christmas – two nail posts in one week, after nails went MIA from the blog for quite sometime! Last year, my chosen was Rudolph, this year, I went for Frosty. I wanted something simple, quick, but also a bit different and festive.
I used one of my favourite pale blues, Nails Inc Oxford for the base on 8 out of 10 nails. Then using Colorama’s Pétala Branca and a wet makeup sponge, I created the frosted tips just by dabbing the sponge, with white polish on the tips. I went round twice.
I painted my ring finger with the same Colorama white I used on the tips and applied the beautiful holographic Orly Prisma Gloss Silver on it, as well to finish all other blue/white nails.
Finally, using Barry M’s Nail Art pen in black, I painted Frosty’s eyes and mouth as dots, and using Kiko’s Bright Orange (357), I (shakily) drew the carrot using a wooden manicure stick. All finished off with Seche Vite, of course.
Overall, super happy with my festive nails!
