I do love a good old monochrome, it is no news, so this week I decided to put it on my talons.

It is not quite an ombré as I feel there is not transition; it’s more black with white faded tips, although this doesn’t sound as nice!

I used the lovely glossy L’Oréal Color Riche nail polish in Black Swan all over  (two coats for optimum coverage) then using a wet makeup sponge I dabbed Colorama Pétala Branca (white) on the tips, going around about three times to make the extreme tip pretty much solid white.

To finish it off, I added the magical Orly Prisma Gloss silver holographic glitter topcoat (LOVE) and Seche Vite topcoat (LOVE2).

To be honest, I first hated it and thought because I invested some time in it, I’d keep it for a couple of days. It kind of grew on me, but not a lot.

I ended up keeping, and it has now been six days and I am ok with it. But still no love.
