MAC Wash & Dry collection

What a weird name, eh? But the colours are inspired on vintage laundromats, so it’s ok!

The MAC Wash & Dry collection, which is full of vibrant and fresh colours has already launched in the UK – the laundromat is indeed open for business!

The packaging  is pretty – metallic rainbow!

Eyes take a pop with four shades of technakohl liner – a lime green (Colour Matters), a bright marine blue (Sudsy), a metal grey with silver pearl (Coin Operated) and a deep blue (Practice Makes Perfect) , plus three Veluxe Pearlfusion shadow trios (Warm Wash, Permanent Press and Green Clean).

There is also a mascara, the waterproof False Lashes in the pretty packaging.

For face, there is Powder Blush in two shades – a pearly pale tangerine (Crispy Whites) and a light peach (Hipness), as well as a beautiful gradient of pastel banana, fuzzy peach and coral highlighter called Freshen Up. Pretty.

Lipsticks come in four shades from nude to red – Crème d’Nude, a light beige pink nude, Tumble Dry, a light peachy coral, Morange, the old classic super vivid orange and my obvious favourite, Steam Heat, a gorgeous vivid yellow red.

There also four tinted lipglasses – nude Girl on Board, frosty pink Domestic Diva, orange Laundry List and true red Hot/Cold.

Nails shades come in as a blue (!) Monday Blues and a blue-green Washeteria.

As usual, there are a couple brushes re-vamped for the collection; face brushes 125 and 126

A nice collection, I say, with broad appeal and many possible looks – from bold to fresh. I like it.

You can check it all out on the MAC website.
