A face all-rounder: meet the NYX Wonder Pencil

IMG_2774Don’t you love an all-rounder? Oh, yes, we do have that special affection for those products that offer extra value for money.

And the NYX Wonder Pencil does not disappoint; it is a highlighter, a concealer and a reverse lip liner, all in one compact little pencil.

Great, no?

I have to say that my very favourite use is as reverse lip liner, in the Medium colour for my skin tone.

Great for those unusual lip colours and those you may not wear very often, thus making it not worth getting a liner in that shade. Or even difficult shades.

It is skin colour so all you do it to fill the outline of your lips for a flawless, bleed-free lip colour. It is great. Truly great.

To be honest, this use alone would make the £4.50 price tag more than worth it. But wait. It still has more uses.

nyx wonder pencilAs a highlighter, I think I like the lighter (Light) colour the best, and it looks fabulous especially on the brow bone.

Concealer wise, it is quite reliable with a medium coverage and decent blendability.

Maybe a little bit too hard for the delicate under eye area, so maybe paint it on another surface and use your fingers to apply and blend.

It is available in three colours (Light, Medium and Deep) and can be bought for only £4.50 from the NYX UK website and now they are also available to buy from Very.co.uk, so check it out!

NYX is a brand I feel very close to as it is professional quality at amazing prices.

Check out my other reviews. I have featured a mascara and eyeliner and none disappoint, on top of being great value for money.
