A lifetime opportunity: essie Colour Portrait Studio with Rankin

essie-ss16-review - 1I am a huge fan of colour and my nails are usually the place this love manifest itself fully.

When it comes to nail colours, there are no limits.

Essie, a nail polish brand I’ve known and loved for a while, is saying goodbye to grey – and so am I by picking their gorgeous new Spring 2016 bright coral Sunshine State of Mind nail polish to adorn my nails. essie-ss16-review - 3

This summer, essie has partnered up with photographer Rankin to celebrate one of my favourite things: beautifully painted nails.

The “Colour Portrait Studio”, which will open for on day only on the 17th May at a secret London location, will bring colours to life.

What’s more, 10 lucky women will have their picture taken by superstar Rankin himself, making it a lifetime experience.

essie-ss16-review - 2To be in with a chance, just enter the competition by the 28 April – it’s easy:

  • Follow essie on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram
  • Upload your best nail selfie using the hashtag #essiexrankin and tag @essieuk.
  • Cross those beautifully manicured finger extra hard to be picked!

My entry is there already 🙂

Needless to say, I love essie polishes; they apply extremely well, the brush is a dream with its rounded end, it has an excellent colour pay off and its durability is off the charts.

Everything you need for gorgeous nails!

The Spring 2016 collection has six new shades inspired by chic Palm Springs resorts. I have Sunshine State Of Mind, the brightest of corals, Poolside Service, a gorgeous cerulean blue and High Class Affair, a pretty blush nude.

There is also Lounge Lover, a pink peach, Off Tropic, which is grove green and Shades on, a deep violet. The RRP is £7.99 and you can get it online, at Superdrug and Boots.

Spring nails: sorted!
