Product review: Tromborg Try Me travel kit

Tromborg is a Scandinavian brand that landed in the UK last year. It is a brand that takes health and ecology very serious – as well as allergies sufferers and delivers products that are perfume free (except from natural perfumes) and full of natural ingredients and essential oils, suitable for the whole family, even the tiny ones.

The Tromborg Try Me trave kit contains six of their most popular products in a handy 50ml size – great for trying or travelling.

The Herbal Cleansing Water is a oil and alcohol free make up remover. It comes in a liquid form and it is very gentle on the skin – it does a decent job of removing make up and is not drying; on the contrary, it is soothing and moisturising. I applied with a cotton wool. It contains hops, chamomile, melissa, achillea, fennel, rose, vitamin complex and sandalwood.

The aromatherapy Ginger Bath and Shower Wash has essential oils – and that’s where the scent comes from. The smell is very subtle and zingy. It fells really lovely on the skin and is not drying, skin felt very clean.

The aromatherapy Ginger Hand soap smells really fresh, cleans and moisturises.

The Herbal and Vitamin Shampoo is very neutral in smell and lathers well, even though it says it is low-foamy. I shampooed twice and hair felt squeaky clean. It feels very mild and nourishing, with vitamins A, B, E, F and H, pro-vitamin B5, chamomile, blam, fennel, hops, yarrow, allantoin and calcium panthotenate.

The Haircure Conditioner is very milky, doesn’t feel very nourishing on application but leaves hair very soft when rinsed. It contains heat protein, panthenol, pro-vitamin B5, vitamins F, E, UV filters and etheric oils.

The aromatherapy Body Lotion is actually my favourite product from the try me box – it is milky and velvety, it smells like sweetened milk and then quite zingy! Love it! It is absorbed very quickly by the skin and leaves it softly, with a very subtle smell. Lovely.
