I was familiar with Balance Me, but I will admit I didn’t really know the extent of their range or the natural goodness of their products. Good thing they had a lovely skin analysis event at their concession at Debenhams Oxford Street and I got to not only have my skin analysed but also find out about their products and try a few!
Balance Me has recently launched their Natural Protection Moisturiser, which has SPF25, just in time for the warmer (we hope) season.
I cannot use rich products on my face, especially when it is warmer and under makeup (meltdown alert!), so I was a bit wary of this before putting on my face; the texture seems quite rich, not very fluid, and it applies that way. It is however, very quickly absorbed by the skin, feeling silky and very light, sitting great under makeup. It has a discreet vegetal kind of smell and my skin is really liking it. And my skin is quite particular.
The fact if offers SPF 25 is superb, making this a great day moisturiser.
This moisturiser has 99% natural ingredients and took two years to develop. This innovative formula has five key elements, harmonised to offer sun protection, moisturisation and anti-ageing:
- Sun protection comes from an innovative sun filter: titanium dioxide which is a physical mineral filter working on UVA and UVB rays. This is particularly good for people who are sensitive/allergic to chemical sunscreens or have prickly heat.
- Blackberry seeds extract , a super antioxidants that combat free radicals.
- Abyssinian, camellia and rosehip oils provide fatty acids and vitamins
- Hyaluronic acid to offer that deep hydration.
This moisturiser is water based and like other Balance Me products, it contains no parabens, sulphates, petroleum, silicones, DEA, PEGS, propylene glycol, artificial fragrances or colours. All products created in the UK and not tested on animals!
The Balance Me Natural protection Moisturiser SPF 25 costs £26 for 40ml and is available from the Balance Me website and also from various retailers, such as Debenhams, John Lewis, Waitrose, Ocado, Whole Foods, among many other, check full list here.
