Dove is bringing another skin loving product out – indulgent body oils to pamper our skin even more. The BRAND NEW Dove Purely pampering Nourishing Body Oil has just launched in two heavenly scents: Pistachio and Magnolia and Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla.
And you, my lovely reader, can be one of the first to get your hands on these amazing oils: I have 8 to give away*.
And so you know what you are getting, I tried them both (as it is no secret I absolutely love a body oil) to make sure you are receiving a great product! I’ve been using daily 😉
I was first drawn to the Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla, as I looove vanilla. The scent is quite subtle, the oil feels light and totally non-greasy. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t quite feel like oil, it feels more like a diluted cream. It has a lovely shimmery golden colour which I absolutely love and this makes the skin glow when light catches it – but doesn’t look glittery. My skin was feeling soft and glowy – especially my legs!
I then moved on to try the Pistachio and Magnolia and was very surprised I liked the smell more than I did the vanilla one. It is sweet, flowery and delicious, not overpowering, and lingers very subtly in the skin afterwards. This one is light green in colour and looks and feels more like oil, translucent in colour; but super light and also non-greasy. Skin felt perfumed and soft after use.
I really like the fact that, although they are both body oils, they are quite different from each other! Both glided and absorbed well, didn’t leave any residue or grease and made my skin fell lovely to touch – I didn’t really feel the need to use a moisturiser.
The oils use a rich blend of oils and contain Dove’s DeepCare Complex, ingredients with linoleic acid, omega 6 and vitamin E. They are part of the Dove Purely Pampering range, which counts with lotions and body washes in the Pistachio and Magnolia and Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla scents plus a couple more.
Body oils should be used in small amounts straight after the shower or bath to lock in moisture. Extra dry areas, like elbows and knee can receive a bit more for extra nourishment. It can also be used all over dry skin before going to bed, to boost skin repair. Also, as the Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla one have the lovely sheen, it can be used liberally on legs to give them that healthy glow and make tone appear more even.
The new Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Body Oils are available in Boots and Tesco from July 2014 and will be sold nationwide from August 2014 for £8.99 each.
So, follow me, get re-tweeting and GOOD LUCK!
