Elizabeth Arden magical Christmas

Elizabeth Arden is doing Christmas in great style this year. I was shown around a beautiful penthouse apartment in central London, scented and decorated just like Christmas, all the wonderful things they are bringing out, and oh, I want them all!

Starting with their classic, possibly most known product, the Eight Hour Cream. Apart from the fabulous gift set containing the full size classic balm and lip protectant plus body, face and hands cream,they are bringing out the lovely Eight Hour Limited Edition Gold Collection. It consists of the classic formula balm, Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant in a pretty gold pot, perfect for your handbag and for only £20.

The Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant in golden packaging also costs £20 and you can get both in a set for only £32 – this is exclusive to Debenhams. These are available from the 01 October 2014.

Moving on to gorgeous makeup, they just launched their Limited Edition Untold Color Collection.

In the line, there are with Eyeshadow Quads in two gorgeous colours: Chic Browns, a fantastic nude palette and Posh Purples, with beautiful purples and pinks, as well as neutral, to hit the purple AW14 trend in the head. Price: £26

There are also two Lipglosses in shimmery Glamorous GOld and Intriguing Violet, Precision Guide Eyeliners in six colours and Natural Eye Brow Pencil in four colours. All priced at £17 each. These are really impressive and useful stocking fillers and also make a perfect “small gift”!

Another lovely gif set is the Beautiful Colour Lipstick Holiday Color Set. The lipsticks have moisture binding and volume enhancing tech. The four shades for all occasions (Red Door Red, Wild Berry, Mocha Shimmer and Sweet Pink) guarantee that your lips are AW14-ready, day or night. It costs only £39 (less than £10 per lippy, value of £80) and comes in a pretty red bag. Also in on the 01 October.

Elizabeth Arden is also bringing their amazing Ultimate Christmas Present: when spending £30 (yes, only £30), you can take a luxurious makeup case full of amazing products worth £330 for only £50! You get two compacts, four lipsticks, two lipglosses, two lip and two eye pencils, mascara, 3-brush set with pouch, shimmer wheel and makeup remover. Phew. That is enough to completely renew your makeup set! Available in all stores from 01 October.

They also have a Prevage Anti-aging + Intensive Repair Holiday set, at an amazing value of £170 – a saving of £95. Apart from the full size serum, you get smaller versions of the day, nigh and eye cream in the range. Flawless future, another anti-ageing line with a serum that is being very much raved about was also on display.

On the fragrance side, Elizabeth Arden has two lines: their own brand and celebrity fragrances.

Their new own branded fragrance, Untold Absolu, has floral absolutes red plum and raspberry accents with an amber base. It is a more sensuous version of their Untold. It is already in the counters and costs from £40 for 30ml.

From the celeb fragrance front, I saw Britney (I had the very first Fantasy one!) in it’s 14th incarnation: New Fantasy, the Stage edition, which is inspired by Brit’s stage presence, specifically the snake carrying Slave 4 U (how hot is that?!). It is priced at £29.50 (50ml, exclusively to Superdrug) and £40 (100ml, exclusively to Boots).

Nicki Minaj also brings out a new one, Onika (which is Nicki’s real name) and is labelled the most seductive fragrance from Nicki’s range so far, with fruits, florals and musks. Priced from £24 (30ml) it is already at available nationwide.

Juicy Couture has the Viva La Juicy, their best selling frgrance, in a gift set. A little wardrobe with 100ml eau de parfum, 125ml body cream and a little 5ml deluxe mini parfum, for the handbag! RRP £80. There is also a Viva La Juicy So Intense Limited Edition, with a huge pink bow, 100ml of this mandarin orange, wild berries, honeysuckle, gardenia and creamy amber fragrance sells for £70.
