All hail the era of the lip lacquer – it is not a gloss, but it is not a lipstick, it sits there in the middle. The lip lacquer of the moment here is the L’Oréal L’Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche in Rouge Soprano (301).
This L’Oréal lip lacquer is a orangey red and has a very decent pigmentation as well as shine. It glides well and has an alright staying power for a glossy product. It is also infused with micro-oils, so gives the hydration of a balm.
The smell is quite nice, like tangy fruit, and the taste is also fine. This lacquer is not very sticky, so thumbs up!
Packaging is all gold and the wand is a slightly bent soft wand in a heart shape, which really helps application, feeling soft on the lips, as it is flexible and fuzzy.
Overall a good product I’ve been using a fair bit. It is priced at £8.99 and sold exclusively at Boots.
