Review: Swell Volumising 3-Step Hair System

Big, big hair, voluminous, full hair. Oh, don’t we all want it? Yes, please! And Swell has a little 3-Step System to give us a helping hand.

Swell has an all-natural formula that not only gives immediate volume but also works long term, nourishing the follicles and helping to avoid shedding and stimulating growth.

It is a three-step system: shampoo, conditioner and root complex spray.

Step one, the Advanced Volumizing shampoo, doesn’t lather too much, but leaves hair nice and clean; it smells very herby and you can definitely sense the active botanical ingredients.

Step two, the Advanced Volumizing conditioner leaves hair very soft; only a small amount is needed to detangle.

Finally, step three, the Advanced Root Nutrition complex spray, with eighteen active botanical extracts, is to be applied to the root of towel dried hair. It is lovely and herby too, upon application, it feels fresh and roots feels soft too.

I noticed an improvement in volume and still testing the longer term effectiveness of the system; overall, I like it. The only downsize for me is the prize; the full size set costs £79, with shampoo and conditioner, both 250ml and the spray, 100ml.

The products have a minimum of 97% natural ingredients and no silicones, parabens, SLS or build-up. Swell products are not tested on animals and are suitable for vegans.

The trial pack, which is going quite a long way, to be honest, costs £21 and has a little bottle of each step. The full size set, £79. Separately, they cost £23 for the shampoo and £26 for the conditioner, both 250ml and £30 for the 100ml spray. Delivery is free in the UK.

You can get the Swell 3-Step System from their website.

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my experience with the product and reflects my honest opinion on them.
