Every time I hear the word glycolic, I feel a little tingle – not on my skin, but because I love glycolic acid products. When I found out a while ago that B. Makeup was launching the B. Revealed Glycolic Peel Cleanser, I just could not wait to get my hands on it!
The cleanser comes in a standard tube with a muslim cloth. It is a white-ish cream, not overly thick and a subtle smell. I applied on my face and waited 3 minutes, the recommended time, before removing with the cloth and splashing with water.
I actually felt a bit of a tingle in some areas, which became slightly red and I wasn’t expecting that, as I usually have stronger concentration peels on a regular basis.
This all faded after a little while and there was no peeling or discomfort in any way. The recommendation is that it is used every three days and I think that is a good interval between uses.
It does indeed help to refine complexion, like a gentle, but deeper exfoliation, with the added bonus of having no scrubbing involved. I cannot say how much I love seeing this kind of product on the high street for an affordable £6.99. You can get it from Superdrug.
