This year, MAC’s limited edition end of the year special bundles seem to be more special than ever. In the past, they were usually limited to brushes; I’ve bought some many years ago, a few times.
This year, there is a whole collection full of wonderful kits, tending to various beauty needs:
I’ll start with the Keepsake Brush kits, of course – the Studio kit perfect for beginners. The last one I bought was the Mineralize one, and that started my love for the 130SE Short Duo Fibre Brush – honestly, a God-send. All at £42.
Eye palettes in lovely beiges, plums and my fave, of course, smoky, with an amazing selection of six eye shadows to create great day and night looks, for £32 each.
Eyes and Lips bags – like a whole look for eyes and lips in one sparkly pouch – eyes (£39.50 each) come with two shades eye shadow, eye liner and mascara, in brown, plum and smoky. Lips (£32 each) come with lipstick, lip liner and lip gloss, in nude, coral and red (with the classic Ruby Woo! Obviously my fave!).
Super exciting face palettes with three eye shadows, iridescent pressed powder, face cream and two lipsticks; available in smoky and natural and for £42.
In addition to that, they have a makeup hanging travel bag (£29.50), Viva Glamorous lip palette and lipstick duo (£35 and £29) and the mini kits called Objects of Affection, with small versions of pigments and glitters (in blue/silver, pink/rose, bronze, gold/beige at £26 each) and lipglass (nude/coral, pink/plum, nude/red, at £26 each).
All come in glittery packaging!
Also worth a mention, is the new heirloom collection, with lots of lovely products in pretty colours!
What do you think? For me, the Keepsakes make a lovely and special Christmas pressie for makeup lovers – but hurry they tend to sell out very quickly!
