It has been a while since a posted my latest nail adventures. I am still doing my weekly manicure, but my nails have suffered a lot in the past weeks; the silks turned out to be lethal to them, as they bend on the tissue and break quite bad after the tiniest bump. Sad times.
But I am still loving my colours and recently I came across a new brand: Only Fingers and Toes (OFAT).
Nitrogen is a fine glitter polish with a green base and some colour shifting. Most of the time, to me, it seems like a deep green, shifting to a lovely teal. Not very often, I did notice sparks of pink and some gold (mainly on the tube!). Overall, a lovely colour.
The polish is easy to apply and it has a good colour saturation. I used three coats, one is quite sheer, two is ok and three I found, works the best.
It dries quickly and the finish is not very smooth, but a good topcoat will do the trick. It lasts very well.
OFAT is a luxury nail brand; the polishes come in a lovely box, perfect for gifting and they are 5-free (no DBP, toluene, formaldehyde, camphor and phthalic acid in their formula). The brand is also part of Positive Luxury.
You can get the lovely Nitrogen, which is part of their AW14 range, the Elements, as well as all of the Only Fingers and Toes nail polishes colours on their website and also at Harvey Nichols. It costs £16.
