This probably got mentioned before but I always block all sun from my face and correct the colour with makeup. I do that because I think it is just not worth taking sun on the face.
Eucerin has a fantastic line of sunscreens and their face products are not different. I was very happy to try (and be using) their Sun Fluid Mattifying SPF 30 and Sun Creme Tinted SPF 50+.
What I really like about the Eucerin SPF range is that they cater for specific skin conditions. Suitable for all sensitive, they also cater for sun allergy, oily, blemished, dry, eczma suffering skins, als well as kids, so you can rest assured your much important sunscreen is not aggravating any skin condition you already have.
I’ve been using the Eucerin Sun Creme Tinted SPF 50+, which is perfect for the beach for those, like me, that feel a bit insecure with no makeup on. The tint is actually quite lovely, I didn’t think I was going to like. It gives me my face a proper sun glow and offer a maximum protection of 50+, so need need to pile up on products.

Mortified – nothing on my face but tinted SPF!
Its light cream texture is great, absorbing quickly and it is not sticky or shiny. Perfect for those “non-makeup days” in the city and everyday by the pool and on the beach.
I’m also using the Eucerin Sun Fluid Mattifying SPF 30, which is perfect for everyday city use, under makeup, and suitable to acneic,
A respectable SPF 30 assures your skin is protected. Texture is amazing – a light fluid that sinks in the skin very quickly. I rarely have encountered a product with that high a protection that is so fluid and sinks in immediately on the skin. It has a non-greasy formula that does mattify a bit and behaves very well under makeup.
It is suitable for suitable and combination skins, as well as blemished ones and it’s waterproof.
Both products are oil-free, non-comedogenic, count with effective, photostable, UVA/UVB filter system with EU-compliant Tinosorb S and have a cellular protection formula, with anti-oxidant liquorice extract, helping protect skin cells against sun damage caused by free radicals and glycyrrhetinic acid, which supports the skin’s own protection and renewal system. They are also fragrance free and not tested on animals.
Overall I am very impressed with the face sun protection from Eucerin, and highly recommend if you have a skin condition they tailor their products for.
The Eucerin Sun Fluid Mattifying SPF 30 costs £15 and Sun Creme Tinted SPF 50+, £16 for 50ml.
