Makeup in Minutes with Clarins

A little while ago, I was late for a cocktails and Clarins decided to give me a helping hand, picking me up from work.

And they offered me their fabulous makeup to get me ready; from work day pumpkin to party night princess. The catch? I had to do it in 15 minutes at the back of a taxi. And no tools. Eeeeek.

Well. Here’s what happened:

I have to say my favourite product was the 3-Dot Eyeliner (£21) – ambitious, at the back of a car, but with this product, it is possible! Mark the spots then join the dots. Easy in a smooth, long lasting formula.

clarins multi blushThe Multi Blush (£18.50) is something I use quite a lot, as I brought one home. It is ever so discreet and the creamy formula turns to powder immediately. Perfect for “no makeup looks” as it delivers a flush of colour that looks very natural and feels very light.

Clarins Wonder Perfect MascaraThe Wonder Perfect mascara (£21.50,reviewed in full here) is also great. Slightly wet formula, but once you get used to it, you get great lengthening and definition.

Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector

The Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector (£18) is great to give lips a light colour, a bit of shine and tons of moisture.

Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch

Finally, the fabulous Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch (£26.50) is a balm to be used as a primer – face and eyes. It smoothes the surface, helps makeup application and gives that polished finish to the look.

And yes, I did it in less than 15 minutes! Clarins also devised 5 and 10 minute looks, proving that it is indeed possible to look fabulous quickly. And yes, they are right: it is still me, only better! Instantly.
