I’ve been a specs wearer for about 10 years now and although my eyesight is pretty good, I must wear glasses for computer work and reading, which happens pretty much all day, every day.

Specsavers AW14 Fashion frames collection showcase

Every time Specsavers launches their fashion collections I get rather excited and this time it is no different: at their recent meet the designers showcase in London, I could count at least ten pairs I wanted straight away!

At the beautiful Choccywoccydoodah secret garden, Chase PR has shown us some of their clients new collections for the next season.
The garden is indeed quite secret – I had no idea it was sitting at the top of their building. And yes, it is a garden, with a bright green fake grass floor, benches, plenty of flowers and my favourite spot: a romantic rope swings with roses at the top.
Fuelled by plenty of sugar and delicious coffees, hot chocolates and juices, we waltzed through the goodies.
Their clients include Elie Tahari, Julian Hakes, French Connection, Red or Dead and LaidBack London, Sebago bringing in the shoes, Transitions lenses, which were in the quirkiest frames, Chesca and Red or Dead clothes and Storm watches and jewellery.

My picks are the rose gold watches from Storm, as well as some of their rings, the French Connection black and white slingback, Elie Tahari’s metallic pink high heel sandals and a zipper stiletto and the amazing Bocca glasses frames from Face a Face with Transitions lenses (which I am absolutely in love). I couldn’t leave Hakes’ Mojito engineered shoes out – although I prefer the black to all the amazing patterns they had on show.

And judging by the looks of the collections, it seems warmer weathers is not the only thing to be looking forward to for the next season!
Red or Dead x Pamela Mann tights preview
Hands up who’s got cold legs. Yeah, I thought so. With the colder season upon us, we better keep those pins warm – and if we can do that in style, well, much better!
Red or Dead, which already has a great tights range, has teamed up with UK hosiery extraordinaire Pamela Mann to bring us a super funky collection of tights.
The designs range from simpler details and block colours to full wonder slogans and prints, certain to be a head turner.
My fave is definitely the LOVE HATE back seam tights. I have a never-ending affair with back seams, so the extra element or words really adds an edge to it. The block colours are also lovely, the dreamy full leg blue pattern is just beautiful, the tartans are bang on trend and the holographic pattern one is just too shiny not to love !
They will be available to purchase on the Pamela Mann website next month and prices range from £8.99 – £22.99! Better keep an eye out!
