I never turn down the chance to discover a new mascara and previous experiences have proved that expensive does not mean good.
The latest on my lashes is the NYX Doll Eyes mascara, which has an hourglass shape brush to create unreal dolly eyelashes.
It comes in three versions: volume, waterproof and lengthening, which I tried.
The formula is creamy and contains a blend of natural oils, Vitamin E and nylon fibers. The brush is very soft and catches all little lashes really well.
The effect is good – lengthened, defined lashes with no clumping. I also like that it doesn’t run.
Easy to remove, it crumbles more than bleeds when washing the face, which means there is less work for the eye makeup remover – for me is a huge plus!
NYX Cosmetics has a huge line of all things makeup at fab prices. The Doll Eye long Lash mascara is only £9 and can be bought from the NYX website.

Thank you! At the moment I am also using the YSL Doll Eyes, and must say this one doesn’t really stay behind.
They are a bit different, as YSL one has a plastic wand. I actually prefer this one’s wand, as its hair bristles are super soft on the lash line. I tend to feel the poke from the plastic ones more as I have sensitive eyes!

I know, I have the same beef with reviews – it is quite rare to have lipstick on lips, mascara/eye shadow/liner on eyes, you get the idea. I make sure I show it in the place it is meant to be used. I am glad you think it adds value – I totally agree!

Have you heard of this 3D fiber mascara from Younique? I’m totally in love! The fibers are 100% black green tea fibers and you use it with their gel.
