Product review: JN Beauty Green Eyed Lady eyeshadow palette

eye makeup using JN Beauty Green Eyed lady palette - somanylovelythings

Green eyed lady – this JN Beauty palette is aptly called as these shades certain to cause some (good) envy when you wear it!

This day look was created using the three colours from the palette!

The packaging is sturdy, compact and comes with a mirror on the lid and three applicators (which I never use anyway) and the palette contains five lovely colours, all with a bit of shimmer: beige with a pinkish/green shimmer (great as a highlighter too), light green (slightly bright), forest green, mauve and pinkish dark brown.

The colours are perfect for Autumn/Winter, but that will survive really well in the summer, especially the lime green, quite close to the next season’s hit chartreuse and the mauve, which will complement all shades of pink we will see everywhere rather well, without mentioning the basic brown and light shade which are staples!

I found pigmentation is quite good, it is not most pigmented eyeshadow I’ve ever tried but it is very far from weak. Durability is ok, especially with a good lid primer. They are soft in texture, blend really well and really complement each other! They are also versatile colours, suitable for day and night.

The lighter colour is very close to one of my staples MAC colours: Vex. It is less pigmented though, but the shade is really close!

The JN Green Eyed Lady is available from their website and costs £20 (for 5 colours – and the amount is very good value for five full sized eyeshadows of this quality!

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my own true experience with the products and reflects my honest opinion on them.
