Product review: Liz Earle Deep Cleansing mask

liz earle deep cleansing mask

I think I said before you cannot beat a good face mask. When I can, I enjoy doing it on Fridays, as it feels I am rinsing the week away and preparing my skin for a rest (most of the times!). And the Liz Earle Deep Cleansing mask is just perfect for that.

It contains geranium essential oil, glycerin, aloe vera, propolis, green and white clay and manuka honey. Lovely! Always worth remembering that Liz Earle sources all ingredients are responsibly, doesn’t test on animals, uses no animals ingredients and keeps preservatives to a minimum.

This mask is very light in texture and it has a dark clay colour to it. It smells like propolis, a smell I associate with healing! Upon application it refreshes to the point of tingling for a few seconds, then it settles. I had it on for 10 minutes and it didn’t dry to the point of cracking, which makes this a very comfortable mask.

I then removed using the soaked sponge. It was easy enough to remove. After removing, I splashed my face with cool water. Skin felt good – clean, soft and replenished.

The Deep Cleansing mask is available from the Liz Earle website and it costs £14.50 for a 75ml tube starter kit, with sponge – which,if you ask me, is great value!!!

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my own true experience with the products and reflects my honest opinion on them.
