Product Review: Original Mineral Frizzy Logic Shine Serum

Original Mineral Frizzy Logic shine serum

Original Mineral, a multi-award winning Aussie haircare brand, is now being stock by Selfridges, and they threw a little hair-styling party to celebrate.

Apart from my lovely waves, I left the event with a bottle of their Frizzy Logic Shine Serum, which my hair is very grateful for, especially at this time of the year.

This little bullet contains a clear frizz-smoother hair serum for a shiny finish with an amazing (and I mean AMAZING) sweet smell. With certified organic argan and macadamia oils, it also protects the hair against humidity. It feels very light on the hair and I felt it smoothed my winter crispy ends quite well. It is Parabens, MIT and Triclosan free.

Original Mineral Frizzy Logic shine serum

Original Mineral is the brainchild of Alan Buki and wife Jose, who researched hair colour without the harsh chemicals (amonia, resorcinol and PPD-free), as Alan suffers from contact dermatitis. Other salons in Australia soon started using their products and the brand grew – expanding from colour to a range of hair care and styling, all using natural solutions, thus being kinder and safer to the skin.

The range includes permanent and semi-permanent hair colourants, shampoos (for normal, dry and fine hair), conditioners, a detox and a silver shampoo, masques, thickening, lifting, serum, styling clay and cream, detangler, hold and sea salt spray, as well as the serum – and all very cutely named and with extremely pretty packaging.

The Original Mineral  products can be found at Selfridges. The Frizzy Logic costs £20 for 50ml. You can also buy it online from the Selfridge’s website.

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my own true experience with the products and reflects my honest opinion on them.
