Promise I won’t proclaim my love for gradients again (ooops). I had an American All Stars themed party, and as usual, I get over excited about themed parties, so went all out.
The outfit, which I made (and posted about), actually started with the nails. I had already decided my next mani would be a gradient and as I had never done one in red, white and blue, that just seemed to perfect!
I selected the red 40 Graus from Colorama, the white French Manicure from Collection and the blue 336 from Kiko. After painting them all white, I used the known makeup sponge technique and voilá.
To add that extra star spangled touch to it, I used Nails Inc Electric Lane holographic glitter topcoat (I love this sooo much) and finished off with Seche Vite to seal it in.
I found hard having the white in the middle as sometime the red would mix so much and become pink, so it was a bit fiddly to fix when that happened.
Overall, I truly LOVED this “star-spangled banner in triumph” mani!!!
