Review: Lola make up It Girl AW14 collection

lola_itgirlsw14_looksLola Makeup by Perse came into my life a while ago and I am always excited to hear about their new collections, as always bring great combinations of colours and look that are easy to re-create and adapt.

Their new Autumn/Winter 14 collection, It Girl, inspired by 60’s and 70’s downtown New York,  is no different.

The collection features lip glosses, six eyeshadows, automatic pencil, eye pencil, high colour and matte lipsticks and three nail polishes, and it is centered around three looks:

Icon shows popping hot pink lips, warm, pinkish eyes and gold nails; a true rock diva tribute, inspired by Debbie Harry. It uses eyeshadows Pink Champage (040), Muse (041) and Cavas (029), automatic pencil in black (001), lipgloss in Hot Pink (009) and Glitterball (020) and nail polish Sandstorm (035).

Their eyeshadows have great pigmentation and staying power (see review here) , the colours in this collection are really versatile. Their lispticks are great – again, high pigmentation, pleasant smell and texture (see review here) and their nail polishes are aldo fantastic – great colours, pigmentation, application and durability (see review here).

Prices are £10 for eyeshadow singles, lipglosses and eye pencils, £12 for lipsticks and £8 for nail polishes. You can get these amazing products (plus the rest of their range) from M&S exclusively, and they reach the shops today, 28 August, so go on and make sure your makeup is new season proof.
