Even without counting in my undying love of the slightly freaky, there are too many reasons why I will fall in love with MAC’s latest limited edition collection, Rocky Horror Picture Show: there are four, yes, I said four, red lipsticks on offer.

The 21-piece collection, in celebration of the film’s 40th anniversary, is said to contain all the glitz, glam, fabulousness and outrage from the film. Let’s hope it does not disappoint.

James Gager, MAC’s senior VP and creative director said “The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic about transformation, diversity, individuality and fantasy; all elements that are a part of MAC’s DNA,” and added that the collection was inspired by the strong makeup looks of the characters.

Apart from the four (aaaaah) red lippies, there are loose glitters (of course) and pigments, six-shade eyeshadow palette, eye liners, mascaras, fake lashes (obviously), nail polishes, as well as sculpting and setting products. I am looking forward to sporting lips inspired by Dr. Frank N. Furter, I tell you!

I will certainly be jumping to the left, stepping to the right with my hands on my hips and bringing my knees in tight to get my claws on this one. I might even throw in a pelvic thrust for good measure.

The collection is out just in time for Halloween, on 29th September in the UK.
