Advent calendars were unknown to me before I moved to the UK. Of course, there is no way having a little treat a day is a bad idea, and obviously I warmed up to it straight away.

Primark Beauty Advent Calendar, £15
In this pocket friendly calendar you will find nail stuff: think polishes, glitter, foils and more. In fact, it should be called the Primark Nail Advent Calendar. The also have a 12-day one, even cheaper and with nails and makeup items, as well as the cutest beauty Christmas crackers.
Not beauty products, but beautifying nevertheless, Topshop has a pretty jewellery advent calendar (£25), and Primark has a cheaper version.

There’s a whiskey one if you search around (for men). What ticks me off is that the Liberty and Selfridges advent calendars won’t ship out to the US. Sucks.
