With the not yet fulfilled promise of warmer weathers, I’ve been banging on about suncream quite a bit lately.
For those who are a bit forgetful, Riemann P20 is a great option as it offer 10-hour sun protection.
Personally, I find they P20 suncreams are particularly handy for everyday use – as we all know we should ALWAYS wear sun protection.
You can apply in the morning and forget about it for 10 whole hours. Very convenient, especially if you work or play sports outdoors.
I also find it perfect for festivals (I used it, optimistically, for the Innocent Un-plugged festival I attended a few weeks back), as you don’t need to carry it around with you all day for re-application.
The extended UVA and UVB extended protection is due to a very stable formula and it also offers superior water resistance – but note; it is always worth reapplying if you are going to be soaking in the water.
It is very important to follow application instructions (not only for P20, but all suncreams, as we always use less than we should), and make sure you apply it 15 minutes before going out in the sun or in the water, so the protective film can form. And rub well. IN THE WHOLE BODY.
The P20 SPF15 is available as a clear spray, quite watery. Honestly, this is perfect for the scalp, if you have thin hair like me (Dandruff-like peeling scalp, anyone? Thought so.) it is a god send. No need to apply cream on the parting, no need to keep re-applying and end up with white hair stuck to scalp. Not a good look, I tell you.
The P20 SPF 20 is a clear lotion, water like. It also applies well and is also fine for scalp… just put a little bit on your hands and tap in.
Both apply well and absorb quickly. The formula is non-greasy and non-sticky.
The P20 range can be purchased from major shops nationwide (Boots, Superdrug and even Primark stock it), as well as online retailers and duty free shops in many UK airports.
The ones I tried cost £13.99 each, and they also have 30 and 50+ available, for £24.99 each. Always worth looking for promotions!
