HeShi is among one of the best self tanning products I’ve ever tried. I knew, from previous experience, that the HeShi Gold Foaming Mousse wouldn’t disappoint.
The packaging is simple and the pump effective, delivering a good amount of product.
The foam is light and of a darker colour, a good guide when applying. It glides smoothly and dries quickly.
The smell is minimum – you get a little, a few hours after application, no more after washing out. Not too biscuity, I have to say, so massive thumbs up!
However, what I like the most in this product is the colour it develops into. It is really golden, but dark enough, and goes so well with my natural skin colour.
It doesn’t look fake or – even worse – orange!
No streaks or patches – thankfully. I like applying before going to bed and washing off in the morning, it takes 6-8 hours to develop. Beware of light clothing before you wash it off; after you do, there is no transfer at all.
I’d recommend applying every week or even five days to keep the tan a constant shade.
HE-SHI is made from 100% natural DHA. It’s also paraben and alcohol free. It has a formula that locks moisture and also acts as age defense.
The HE-SHI Gold Foaming Mousse costs £26 for 150ml – it does go a long way – and can be purchased from Boots – so very easy to get hold of and the HeShi website, where you can find their fab tanning range.
I also tried the HeShi Dark Foaming Mousse, check it out!
