We have entered the Bank holiday weekend, yay! And the weather is looking alright – double yay!
Fancy something a bit different, East of the city? Just opened and for a very limited period is the Orangina Pétanque at Roof East, a pop-up rooftop bar in Stratford, a boule throw from the station and Westfield.
I do encourage you folks come this way, as I live only five minutes from it and have been to the bar and was chuffed to be invited to the exclusive opening of the lanes this week.
Yes, I did rub shoulder with Made in Chelsea cast members, actresses and star bloggers, played pétanque (and lost, bf beat me) and drank loads of Orangina and Orangina cocktails!
And you can have all that too (maybe minus the celebs) – there is music, Orangina inspired drinks and of course, pétanque.
All this to celebrate the return of the iconic Orangina drink. Nice, eh?
To book, go to the boulers.co.uk; it’s £15 for advance bookings and you can try to book on the day, for £20 a session of 30 minutes. It just opened on Thursday, and it is there until the 2 September inclusive.
It is free to get into Roof East, and I highly recommend. Apart from an amazing watermelon cocktail (and others), they have food from Flamin’ Liberty and an open air cinema too, showing classics.
Also, keep an eye out for Orangina at retailers nationwide. It’s back!
You’re welcome!
