If memory hasn’t betrayed me, I believe Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant was the very first skincare I had access to when I got to London more than a decade ago.

Product review: B. Rescued Energising Balm
Let’s get one thing straight: I’ve never been a great fan of anything that is called a balm. I blame that on my beauty pet hate: the BB creams.

Product review: Repair Me balm by Skin Repair
The Repair Me balm from Skin Repair is an “all purpose protective balm suitable for all skins”.
Basically, it is an all rounder for you to soothe all dry bits around the body. I find it is quite rich, so it doesn’t really work for my face. I also didn’t like as a lip balm. However, it works very well for the rougher parts: heels, elbows, it is also quite nice on the cuticles. Now my favourite use for it: blisters and calluses on my hands from doing the aerial hoop.
