Product review: GOSH Forever Eye shadow stick

In all fairness, I have always dismissed creamy eyeshadows. And not because I don’t like them, but because they melt like butter on my lids – and worst of all – sit on the crease creating a very unflattering line of sticky darkness.

When I tried the GOSH Forever Eye Shadow, I thought the same was going to happen, but for my surprise, they stuck in there. I think I am converted!

To start, they are super soft to apply; I used a brush to blend and they mix very well – but make sure you blend immediately after application as they dry to a powdery finish soon after application. They very easy to use (really, it is a pencil!), have good pigmentation and the metallic effect is quite visible, delivering amazing shine.

You can easily blend just using your fingers and use it as eyeliner. It is ideal to create day looks as well as evening ones, especially if you are on the go!

Also, you don’t need to sharpen it – just twist the bottom and more will come out!

I used Beige, Light Copper, Brown and Grey and they complement each other very well. Now, this eyeshadow carries the word “waterproof” on the packaging. And you ask – what is the durability? And I will tell you: the durability is fantastic.

I mean, seriously fantastic. Once it sets, it stays. Applied it in the morning, went to a spin class over lunch time and after that, it was was still there. In place. No gathering on the crease. Amazing.

The GOSH Forever Eye Shadow is available in eight flattering shades and is paraben and perfume free. You can find them in Superdrug and they sell for £5.99. At the moment of publishing (05 May 2014), they are £2 off, for only £3.99. Bargain!

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my own true experience with the products and reflects my honest opinion on them.

    • Hi Tanja
And they are indeed. A couple days ago I went to the Charlotte Tilbury counter in Slefridges to try their mascara and mentioned I had been to the gym at lunchtime so removing my eye makeup was probably a good thing at that point, hehehe. She started to take it off and asked if I was using their eyeshadow pencils (which cost £19), as it looked like it. I then said they were GOSH and were a bargain – especially now at £3.99! You should definitely get them if you can!
      Very impressed.
Thanks for your visit and comment!
