As you probably know by now, I love a bit of nail art that is not too out there. I like it discreet, elegant and a bit more mature, as I am not that young anymore.
With the craze about metallic tattoos all around us, I thought it would be great to use it in different ways, so I used to tattoo my nails!
I used the lovely Treasure Tats from lottie London to create this mani. I cut off a line of dots, grouping them in fours for each nail.
After applying a shiny black Models Own polish, I carefully placed the dots at the centre of the nail, close to the cuticle and wet it, as if was applying to skin. Removed the excess water, then the paper and voilá: golden dots in place.
Then I applied a coat of Seche Vite to seal them in.
Overall, I loved this mani; I just found it very elegant, simple but impactful.
The lottie London Treasure Tats are available now from Superdrug and cost £9.99 for a huge amont – three sheets. There are so many pretty designs that using some on your nails won’t be a problem!
