Product review: Eye of Horus Goddess eye pencil in charcoal obsidian

The Eye of Horus is an ancient Egypt symbol of protection, health and power. Here, the Eye of Horus is a cosmetic brand that delivers lovely products to make our peepers powerfully beautiful!

The Goddess pencil in Charcoal Obsidian is a charcoal colour with some subtle shimmer. It has a smudging tip on one end, to help create a smokey effect. Their formula is waterproof, smudge proof and long-lasting.

The pencil is soft and applies well, with good precision for sharper lines, blends well with shadows and the pigmentation is good. The smoking tip is comfortable on the eye and smudges the product well.

Eye of Horus is a company creating eye makeup based on ancient Egyptian formulas full of essential oils and waxes. They are also cruelty free and contain no parabens, aiming to use as much natural ingredients as possible.

They are also launching two new beautiful colours to their Goddess pencil range: the Jewel Amethyst, a lovely purple with microglitter and Lazuli Blue, a vibrant electric blue to give eyes that colour pop which has been gracing the catwalks lately and is set to be a it for Spring/Summer14.

On the Eye of Horus website, you can find more information on the Goddess Eye Pencil as well as their range of products, including mascara and eyeliner. The Goddess Pencils are £13 each and can be purchased in the UK from Cocktail Cosmetics.

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my own true experience with the products and reflects my honest opinion on them.
