Nails of the week: red and gold marble

Well, we all know I cannot get enough of a good old easy marble – it is up there with gradients and leopard spots – so here is another one.

In reality, this was to satiate my need for red talons – and being one not able to have just plain nails, something had to be embellish it… I give you gold! Now, that’s an embellishment!

I used Colorama’s red Luxo (most of my staple reds are from Brazilian Colorama) and added Barry M’s Foil Effects in gold to the mix, swirling it with a wooden manicure stick. I did a step by step tutorial on this simple marble here, a while ago.

I am quite pleased with this. It is easy, relatively quick so good value for the effect it has and indeed cured my need for crimson keeping my aversion to plain manicures at bay!
