Nails of the week: glittery lilac (Make Up Gallery Parma Violet)

Make Up Gallery Parma Violet nail polish

You know when you fall in love with a nail shade? Yeah, that. I fell for Make Up Gallery’s Parma Violet the moment I saw it on the display.

Just a reminder, Make Up Gallery is the just-launched Poundland makeup brand so before you ask, yes, this amazing polish is just £1!

Being a £1 nail polish I was very nervous about using it. I do my nails to last at least 7 days so I hate polishes that apply badly or even worse, chip. I really did not want this beauty of a colour to disappoint me. And it didn’t.

This polish is creamy so the risks of staining are higher, but not for this one; it applied beautifully, smoothly and in a very uniform way. The brush has slightly rounded edges, which makes application easier – if I can point out a fault it would be the bristles are slightly short.

Alone, this colour is stunning. I added some black tips (L’Oréal Color Riche Black Swan) and the amazing glittery Prisma Gloss Silver topcoat by Orly (love – it makes any nail polish special).

H0nestly, I don’t think Parma Violet needed anything added, I almost regretted adding the details to it. Totally in love.

This post contains PR samples. This review, however, is based on my experience with the product and reflects my honest opinion on them.
