I believe the very first red lipstick I bought in the UK was from Sleek. It was way before my beauty blogging days and I bought it for a fancy dress party.
A French maid in black and white and certainly needs a splash of red to add extra oomph, oui?
Needless to say I fell in love with red lipstick and from that time on, it’s constantly on my lips.
Now I got sent these two lovelies from Sleek, which seem to have been chosen perfectly to my skin tone.
The Coral Reef lipstick is a bright coral, depending on the day and light it is borderline fluoro, even though it photographs quite red. I love it. Great for summer.
The consistency is creamy, pigmentation is good and durability pretty standard. What I like the most is the size: it is so dinky it is perfect for any handbag.
This blusher in Rose Gold is beautiful! It is a pinker coral and has that golden sheen undertone that is so flattering, and although it looks quite dark, the pigmentation is subtle and flattering on my skin tone, adding a lovely glow. It is shimmery (but not glittery), so use with caution.
All packaged with in a slim compact with mirror.
Overall, a great return to the brand. Worth checking their line of blushers, with a great selection of colours (some great for contour) and very affordable prices.
The Sleek Blush costs £4.49 and the Sleek True Colour Lipstick, £4.99, and can be bought from their website and retailers like Superdrug.
While at it, you might want to check out my post on how to apply lipstick perfectly!
The blusher is such a pretty colour! Looks great on, a nice glow but not too pink!

Very pretty, with a lovely glow! It does look super strong, but when applied, the colour is subtle.
