Every season there are a couple of brands that will launch a product that stays with me for a long time. GOSH is certainly of them.
They are always focused on genuine Nordic ingredient, and are always introducing new ones into the lines. This season, meet the dandelion.
Personally, I really enjoy how affordable, high quality and extensive the range is; and for Spring/Summer 17, they keep growing it: there are tons of new products as well as additions to much loved lines.
For me, their pencil products are just amazing – application, durability, versatility – you name it and they have it.
Their new CCC (contour, cover and conceal) chubby concealer stick is no different. It comes in six shades including two shimmery ones which make amazing highlighters.
My favourite is the 001 Highlight Vanilla, which is a fabulous discreet highlighter, perfect to use alone or underneath a powder one for amped-up glow.
The cream is light and turns into a perfect finish upon blending. Amazing. They cost £9.99 each and are already available. They are perfumes and parabens free and shades 001 and 002 are vegan.

Also already launched and creating a social media furore are the matte liquid lipsticks. No secret (or surprise) I became a fan of those pretty quickly and they’ve been the thing on my lips for almost a week now.
Coming in eight shades and costing £8.99, they apply like a dream with a velvety finish. It is not drying and doesn’t bleed, wearing out quite nicely too.
They are also vegan friendly and infused with dandelion leaves extract (full of carotenoids, vitamins A, B, C and D, minerals, flavonoids ad sterols) and LIPerfection, GOSH’s ecocert certified lip plumper.
The colours all carry a hint of pink, from the nudes to the purples, without a brown in sight (amen to that!).
For the eyes comes the Volume Serum Mascara, which has the finest comb brush I’ve ever seen.
It does take a little bit of getting used to and it gives lashes amazing definition. I think it’s perfect for bottom lashes and the RRP is £13.99.
In the eyeliner department, there’s a fabulous super pigmented Giant Pro Kajal (vegan friendly, £7.49), the Giant Pro Double Ended Liner (£10.99). Durability is great and application easy, although I struggle a bit getting definition with kajals.
They also have the Infinity Eyeliner (£6.99), which is soft as butter and durable like a marker pen. No joke. The Ash (006) colour is very close to black but not as harsh, making it a perfect shade to define without being too heavy. It is very close to Charlotte Tilbury’s The Classic.
Now, the Eye Xpression eyeshadow quads (£8.99) are super useful: perfect size to have on the go, fabulous, versatile shades with the exceptional quality of GOSH shadows. Warm neutral BackToNature has become a fixture in my makeup bag.
Have I mentioned how much I love their matte Velvet lipsticks? Oh! I do! And they are adding five shades to it: pretty pinks and mauves as well as a killer orange red. They cost an affordable £7.99 each.
And for the fans of Lumidrops (£8.99) highlighters, there are two new additions to the line, but this time blushers: a pink and a peach based. They highlight and colour at the same time. So pretty!
So, for a makeup refresh for the (sooooo expected) new season, you know where to go! GOSH is available at Superdrug.

At this time of the year my hair (and skin) are very tired: the wind is brutal, central heating has been acting on it for months… what better than some natural healing power to help restore my locks?
I discovered the range (and got my personalised bottle) at their fabulous The Blends’ Room pop-up in London. And if you are around Soho today and want to be amongst the first to try, pop down to 15 Bateman Street (W1D 3AQ) before 6pm to get free samples and other treats. Hurry, it’s the last day!
All addressing different hair needs and the even better, with a price tag that won’t break the bank.
A small amount of conditioner is very effective and the mask is thick and powerful. Hair feels clean and soft after use.
Now, a little away from hair… the Intense Repairer body lotion is divine, perfect for winter skin. It is rich but absorbs amazingly well; my skin cannot have enough of it.
First of all, I feel I have to explain the month long absence: I have moved houses. Bought a flat and been like a maniac between closing the deal, moving and furnishing and now I’m starting to settle. Although I have no wifi yet, tethering to my mobile has been useful. And the means to this post!
Second, I cannot see a better way of going to back to blogging than essie‘s retro revival 2nd edition limited collection nail polishes. The six shades embody the flawless chic vibe from the beginning of the brand in 1981 Las Vegas – in fact the caps have the original Stardust Casino gold star sign.
My favourite has to be the stunning sweet tart (oh how appropriate!) a pearlescent nude with mauve undertones. Just gorgeous.
That doesn’t mean I am not in love with the other shades: pure chiffon is the perfect warm beige which will suit most skin tones; flawless is a delicate pink that feels quite neutral; chastity is a lively cherry blossom pink and bold beauty is a fabulous and seductive mid-century deep red. All sorts of love for this collection.
Apart from the neutrals and a killer red, that never goes out of fashion, pinks were all over the catwalk for the new season.
Of course how well a product works is its best feature, but really, cute packaging goes a long way. Grow Gorgeous has it all: fab products which work and smell great and the most delightful packaging.
Their new hair Strengthening Oil is a finishing product for mid and end of the hair.
That and my ever suspicion of 2-in-1 products made me extremely sceptical about this product, which is enriched with abyssinica seeds and panthenol.
And surprised I was! Admittedly, it lacks foaming and hair doesn’t get squeaky clean on rinse but it does feel extra smooth. I was worried about, without a wash for two days, it wouldn’t be enough to break down the grease and it would clump.
The Hair Growth Serum was designed to help you grow thicker, longer hair. It contains acetyl tetrapeptide-3, clover flower extract active complex, bio-active complex of Chinese skullcap, soy sprout, wheat sprouthyalurinoci acid and caffeine to stimulate follicles, increase scalp hydration and improve density and length.
It dries fine and does not weight down the roots, which is very important for fine hair! I did notice a very slight improvement after a while, but hey, every little helps! It costs £30 for 60ml.
Grow Gorgeous products are on sale at the moment, with up to 50% off. Right now (28 Dec 2016), you can get the
I have that kind of skin that goes downhill during the day – it loses hydration, lines and scars become more visible, even if make up does not sink. Add the weather and the stresses this time of the year and boom! Skin nightmare!

So I spoke about how liquid lipsticks unexpectedly stole my heart and this is the culprit of this new found love: Collection Velvet Kiss.
Yes, a liquid lipstick with a flawless matte finish. Trust me, I took a while to believe too.
Now, why not, this Christmas, give the gift of good skin?
Perfect for this time of the year and multitasking, this kit will cater for many skin concerns. You can also layer the masks – when I say this is a super muilti-tasking kit, I mean business!
We’ve all been there: great party straight out of a stressful day in the office. And now with the end of year parties in full swing, it is likely you are finding yourself in that situation more often than not.
For skin that has been in the office (and in party mode) the
To refresh your makeup, invest in a little multi-tasking palette which doesn’t take much space and will go a long way.
For you lips, my newest obsession, liquid lipsticks are just perfect as they are quick to apply. At the moment, Kat Von D Vampira is my autumn go-to shade and scream edgy party look.

For me, Crabtree & Evelyn have the best hand creams in the market. Undisputed. When they add a festive spin to the scents, they become unbeatable.
This season sees the rise of Rose Pineapple, a gorgeous scent that combines the classic delicate and subtle rose with the tropical, sweet zing of pineapple. It’s like something you never smelt before.
Having loved the two fragrances about, I must confess my biggest surprise was the gorgeous Spiced Earl Grey fragrance. It’s got a sweet spice scent with a hint of lemon that is totally intoxicating and soothing.
I also have the fabulous Christmas cracker, which also comes with the three seasonal hand therapy creams in a handy 10g.
Prettily set on frosted glass rectangles and stackable, they deliver a durable punch of the fabulous festive scents to really set the mood and create that seasonal ambiance.
Water. More than half of our bodies is made of it. We all love it and know how important it is in our lives and beauty regimes.
To start with, the essence is very fresh; in the morning it does help you wake you up. The Activating Water Essence basically prepares the skin to receive and better absorb the care; it feels soft and revitalised after application.
