As a high-heel lover, for me, it is hard to find flats that I deem pretty enough – but these Steve Madden Henna flat sandals really hit the spot.

Olivia Palermo, the shoe designer
Yet another celeb jumping on the designer bandwagon. Although I am rather sceptical about this kind of thing, I kinda like Olivia Palermo (the girls is stylish!) and if the shoes that come out are as lovely as sketches that have been released, I think this has the potential to be a good one.
SATC Carrie’s shoes
Don’t you just love a great collection of shoes? Of course you do!
Carrie, I feel you when you said: “I’ve spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!’
More than love, sex, friendship, city, broken hearts, and what not, Sex and the City was a tale of shoes. So, courtesy of PopChart Lab, feast you eyes with this beautifully illustrated Carrie’s shoes poster…
And you can buy “The Many Shoes of Carrie Bradshaw’s Closet” poster from PopChart Lab for $29. Pretty.
What I’ve been wearing – 03/06/14
I’ve been trying so hard to be summery and wearing floaty skirts whenever I can. The weather has been mild, but not glorious enough to go all out…
Keep hoping! This outfit selection contains a mix of “I wish I could wear this without tights” and “I am preparing myself for summer” outfits.
Outfit #1
Black and white, frilly off-the-shoulder jumpsuit from Rare London, black court shoes from Christian Louboutin, belt from Primark, necklace from New Look, rings from Forever 21, H&M, Sobral and Primark.
My earliest beauty memories
One of these days I was talking to people how I became so obsessed with makeup, style and shoes so I started thinking and went back to my childhood, when I used to smash my aunt’s Ciane’s eyeshadow palettes (sorry auntie) and smear my aunt’s Tiana’s lipsticks on my face, while they weren’t around.
The technique was the same: wait until they were distracted chatting with family or going over their daily and go over their dressing tables and pounce, in the dark, getting hold of anything I could, quickly.
Another Marvel from Julian Hakes – a Captain America inspired shoes
When I am not even close of having enough of the Mojitos, Julian Hakes comes up with these exquisite beauties to mark the release of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Taking inspiration from “The Black Widow” character, these shoes are quite distinct from the Mojitos; although you can clearly see they are a Hakes’ work of art. It has a star-shaped heel. YES. STAR SHAPED. Love it.
Spring/Summer 14 – what I am lusting over
It is no secret I feel more in my element over spring/summer. Although I like the elegance the winter brings, nothing beats a happy, floaty summer outfit.
What I’ve been wearing – 27/02/14
This post seems to be mostly about going out – there is just one work outfit included! I love dressing up, and always make an effort when going out!
Been feeling a bit blue lately, so that might explain the huge gap between outfit posts. Spring will certainly bring a hug wardrobe excitement and no doubt I will be photographing and posting more outfits! Cannot wait!
Outfit #1
Flowery of the should crop top and black pencil skirt from H&M, belt from Primark, black court shoes from Christian Louboutin (Decollete 100), necklace from Primark, rings from Sobral, New Look, H&M and Topshop.
Dani and Viviela London <3
So today I started my official “partnership” with super cool shoe brand Viviela London, which just launched in Brazil – their shoes are full of personality – they are daring, sensuous and have a hint of fetish – no wonder I am a fan!
I am thrilled to be part of it, and would like to congratulate the very talented designer, Viviane Melo, on the new collection!
I write in English and Portuguese on their blog – as I will be talking about fashion, culture and style (and obviously, shoes), I will link to it from my blog to there from time to time, when I feel it is relevant!
Here is the first post, “What makes a Viviela London pair of shoes“, which talks about inspiration, the creative process and the lifeblood of the brand.
Hope you enjoy! 🙂
