What I’ve been wearing – 03/06/14

Maleficent everything: Jewellery

Ooooh, the film is not even out but Maleficent is the gift that keeps on giving (especially for me, I’ve been a fan since she scared the pants out of me in the 80’s Sleeping Beauty VHS, yep, I’m that old) and producing the most amazing stuff for us to see, use or simply lust after.

The Disney collaborations seem never-ending and the latest for this movie is jewellery: dark, gorgeous and wearable by Crow’s Nest Jewels, the same folks responsible for a Sleeping Beauty collection.

What I’ve been wearing – 27/04/2014

It’s been a while. Obviously,  I haven’t been walking around naked; a mix of lack of time to photograph, uninspiring cold days where I couldn’t be bothered and that emotional problem solving kinda got in the way.

My wardrobe is starting to get packed with some lovely spring goods, but so far the legs haven’t seen the daylight in London. Hurry, while I still have a tan!

Brazilian beauty brand O Boticário gears up for World Cup

All eyes on Brazil – I noticed many beauty brands have launched lines inspired by Brazil in preparation for the World Cup. Under the tagline “Ours are the most beautiful supporters in the world” Brazilian Beauty and skincare giant O Boticário has taken it a step further, launching a whole line of products to be used not only to mark the event but also when cheering for Brazil during the World Cup.

Madly in love with Mad in England

My relationship with my glasses has blossomed in the past few years. Forward back to the teenager who wanted to wear glasses but had a perfect vision, than forward to the late-20’s girl who found out she needed glasses for reading/computer and thought it was a sign of getting old, getting the most discreet frames possible, I can say it came a long way. I now love my glasses – and Specsavers really helps me match them to my personality.

Glasses are really important – they are on your face every day, but somehow, the thought that goes with choosing them, is usually less than choosing clothes, or shoes that we might wear less often than glasses. And that is why I loved this showcase – it showed glasses as fashion accessories all throughout.

The Rogue + the Wolf jewellery

One of my discoveries during Pure London show was a fantastic brand called The Rogue + the Wolf. I am a ring lover – some days I have one on almost every finger!

The designs are different and unusual; I was absolutely mesmerised by their quirky and a little bit bad-ass jewellery – which is, at the same time, rather adorable; there are some really cute designs too!
