Trend. Such a powerful word nowadays. Everyone uses it. There’s a trend overload in all aspects of life.
Now, let me get this out of the way: I don’t dislike the word trend (or real trends themselves). In fact, I quite like it, as helps give you guidance to easily update your wardrobe, but sometimes I do think it is overused to mis-sell stuff.
My hands suffer. Not only they perform all mundane tasks but they are also battered by my aerial antics. Add an Italian heritage (someone who talks with their hands) and the poor thing pretty much work around the clock.
As a beauty junkie, I am *slightly* obsessed with everything makeup, hair, nails, body and skincare. Eye creams are one of those products that are favourites of mine, I think because I can actually feel the difference they make.
Now, I’ve been a fan of makeup artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath for a very long time, but cannot help being that extra bit in awe this week.
Not only these pics have been released, with all McGrath’s talent and artistry poured over Kim K, but also, as Max factor’s Global Creative Director, Pat designed some Star Wars inspired makeup, to mark the brand’s partnership with the movie.
I never tire to try new mascaras; it is always great to discover a new brand.

It looks like some fabulous Louboutin Lipsticks in matte red have been peppered around the world. With the successful launch of the nail polishes, no wonder Mr. Louboutin would venture into more beauty, after all, his works are beauty itself (yes, yes, I am a fan).
Recently we have seen “new” beauty “trends” popping up everywhere: strobing, bronde and clown-contouring.
Yes. You heard it. I did say Christmas. In July. Honestly, with all companies having the Christmas press events over July, there is no way I cannot obsess about it.
There are so many lovely things (see what I did there?!) coming up from amazing brands, I just cannot wait.
