Those who know me can confirm I am not one to pass the opportunity to dress up. I LOVE dressing up. When I do it, I go all out; no point in being half-hearted, right?

New glasses? Specsavers SS14 fashion frames launches

dani tries mad in england from red or dead

Madly in love with Mad in England

My relationship with my glasses has blossomed in the past few years. Forward back to the teenager who wanted to wear glasses but had a perfect vision, than forward to the late-20’s girl who found out she needed glasses for reading/computer and thought it was a sign of getting old, getting the most discreet frames possible, I can say it came a long way. I now love my glasses – and Specsavers really helps me match them to my personality.

Glasses are really important – they are on your face every day, but somehow, the thought that goes with choosing them, is usually less than choosing clothes, or shoes that we might wear less often than glasses. And that is why I loved this showcase – it showed glasses as fashion accessories all throughout.

The Rogue + the Wolf jewellery

the rogue and the wolf obey and betray rings - somanylovelythings

One of my discoveries during Pure London show was a fantastic brand called The Rogue + the Wolf. I am a ring lover – some days I have one on almost every finger!

The designs are different and unusual; I was absolutely mesmerised by their quirky and a little bit bad-ass jewellery – which is, at the same time, rather adorable; there are some really cute designs too!

SJP new shoe line – yay or nay?

sjp shoes

Oh, the furore this shoe launch has caused. I thought I’d stay quiet and let it go, but it keeps coming back… We all know I love shoes so I have to say something about this. So here we go.

Sarah Jessica Parker, our beloved and forever Carrie (although I am more a Samantha myself) from  Sex and the City has launched a shoe line in partnership with Nordstrom. I was expecting this and my only surprise is that it didn’t happen earlier, given the tight bond between the character and footwear. So far, so good.

This post seems to be mostly about going out – there is just one work outfit included! I love dressing up, and always make an effort when going out!

Been feeling a bit blue lately, so that might explain the huge gap between outfit posts. Spring will certainly bring a hug wardrobe excitement and no doubt I will be photographing and posting more outfits! Cannot wait!

Pure London show: what I liked

pure london 2014

I am not quite sure how I feel about getting excited about Autumn/Winter 14, when 13 is not even over and I am so looking forward to Summer – in my head, I just have all shades of pink, canary yellow and chartreuse and longing for extended daylight.

However, I just loved the chance to be surrounded by trends and so many exciting clothes, footwear and accessories at Pure London Fashion trade show. And now I feel mentally prepared (and with a list to what look out for!) for at least 2 seasons!

Shoe review: Julian Hakes Mojito

Julian Hakes Mojito shoes

One day, his architect mind wondered off to question why high heels needed a foot plate – and this was the beginning to the conception of the award-winning Mojito shoes by Julian Hakes.

I am a huge fan of shoes (I am sure you hadn’t noticed before!) and I really love the different – a twisted heel, an innovative design, and unusual feature, so there is no surprise I am a fan of the Mojito (especially when it takes it’s name from a fresh concoction of rum, lime and mint!).

What I’ve been wearing – 22/01/14

My first outfit post of 2014! Whoooa!

Of course, there are some that were actually worn in 2013 (don’t tell anyone!). It is that time of the year where I start to lean towards colour. I know we are not even halfway through winter and this year has been quite mild. But it id depressing nevertheless and I am spending my days dreaming of bright yellows and a plethora of shades of pink… Come on spring, hurry up!
