As some of you might know, I am from Brazil. That means that at least once a year I face a long haul flight to see my family. Add that a passion for travelling and you will probably see me for seven hours or more on board a plane at least twice a year.
Autumn lips sorted: new colours of GOSH Velvet Touch lipsticks are coming to the new season to tend to all of out lip needs. I picked my favourites: Divine (red) and Night Kiss (raspberry).
I’ve been using the new makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights and it is amazing what a difference a highlighter in the right spot makes in your makeup.
Being in Superdrug for me is like being in a candy shop: they have soooo many brands and cover so much in the beauty, skincare and health area that is impossible to walk away! Their event was no different, all parts of Superdrug were well represented and I love discovering all the launches.
I love Westfield. So much, I live only 7 minutes walking from one – ok, I didn’t move because of it, but my boyfriend joked that I wouldn’t really need the flat, as I’d live inside Westfield!
Needless to say, I was delighted when they approached me to take part on their #BareFacedorBold Challenge, to create six looks; three bold (yay) and three bare-faced ones.
My love of glitter flakes is never ending… sometimes it goes away for a while, but it is guaranteed to return.
On top of fur coats, something else I am loving “just a bit” for the new season are capes and wraps. They are perfect for the autumn, drape around you quite nicely and feel super snug.
Elizabeth Arden is doing Christmas in great style this year. I was shown around a beautiful penthouse apartment in central London, scented and decorated just like Christmas, all the wonderful things they are bringing out, and oh, I want them all!
All hail the era of the lip lacquer – it is not a gloss, but it is not a lipstick, it sits there in the middle. The lip lacquer of the moment here is the L’Oréal L’Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche in Rouge Soprano (301).
In a way, writing about coat saddens and excites me in equal measure, as the winter is absolutely not my favourite time of the year – but the prospect of a new coat is, well, rather exciting.
As an imminent necessity that is going to be with you for a very long time *sigh*, you might as well just love the one you have, and wear it with gusto.
