In reality, this was to satiate my need for red talons – and being one not able to have just plain nails, something had to be embellish it… I give you gold! Now, that’s an embellishment!

Product review: Garnier Miracle Skin Cream

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream

So, a little helping hand for tired, dull skin, that works throughout the day and is also anti-ageing? Is that right? Garnier is promising us just that, in the shape of the Miracle Skin Cream.

This new product, launching in February 2014, claims to deliver instant transformation to the skin. skin repair repair me balm

The Repair Me balm from Skin Repair is an “all purpose protective balm suitable for all skins”.

However, it works very well for the rougher parts: heels, elbows, it is also quite nice on the cuticles. Now my favourite use for it: blisters and calluses on my hands from doing the aerial hoop.

Nails of the week: green leopard

green leopard print nails jn beauty nail lacquer - somanylovelythings

If I could I would have either leopard print or gradient nails all the time. But that would be too boring for the blog, so I try to squeeze them in from time to time…

And this is the green turn. I “recycled” my new year’s eve manicure, as I didn’t have time to do anything more elaborate for the night, I just painted it with the gorgeous JN Beauty green 036.
